The process

Fixed in three steps

No back-and-forth tickets. No waiting a week. We access your site securely, trace the fault layer by layer, and fix it.

01

You tell us what's broken

Fill in a short form β€” no technical knowledge needed. Tell us what your customers aren't receiving and when it started. We'll take it from there.

⏱ 5 minutes
02

We diagnose every layer

We work through your site methodically β€” WooCommerce settings, wp_mail(), your SMTP plugin, your delivery service, and your DNS records. We find the actual fault, not just the symptom.

⏱ Usually same day
03

Fixed and tested end-to-end

We fix the root cause, configure everything correctly, and run real delivery tests across email providers. You get a written summary of what was wrong and what we changed.

⏱ Confirmed before we close

The Brevo API key nobody knew had expired

A UK retail client came to us after customers stopped receiving order confirmations. WooCommerce showed a vague "Error sending test email" with no further detail. The fault wasn't in WooCommerce at all.

Diagnostic trace
β†’ WooCommerce email settings Β Β  enabled βœ“
β†’ WooCommerce logs Β Β  no mail entries
β†’ WP Mail SMTP installed Β Β  mailer: Brevo
β†’ WP Mail SMTP test run Β Β
β†’ Error: unauthorized β€” API key not enabled
βœ“ Root cause identified: revoked Brevo API key from previous developer

The previous developer had set up Brevo years earlier. When they left, no handover documentation was passed on β€” and the API key had since been revoked. WooCommerce had no way to surface this clearly.

Questions

FAQ

We ask for WordPress admin credentials and hosting/cPanel access. You can create a temporary admin user for us and revoke it once we're done. We never store credentials and all access is logged.
No. Our diagnostic process is read-only until we've identified the fault. Any changes are made carefully and tested before we close. We never deactivate plugins on a live site without your agreement.
Get in touch before paying. We'll look at your situation and tell you honestly whether it falls within our scope. If it doesn't, we'll point you in the right direction at no charge.
Yes β€” for Shopify we cover notification configuration, app conflicts affecting email delivery, and third-party SMTP setup. Shopify's core infrastructure is managed by Shopify themselves, so some issues fall outside our scope.
We invoice you only when the fix is confirmed working β€” tested and verified with you. If we can't fix it within the covered scope, you pay nothing. No awkward conversations, no partial charges.
If the same fault recurs within 30 days of our fix β€” same root cause, same problem β€” we'll fix it again at no extra charge. If a new, unrelated problem appears, that's a separate job.
