A WooCommerce payment failure means real orders lost in real time. Whether it's Stripe throwing errors, PayPal redirecting nowhere, or your gateway silently rejecting cards β we find it and fix it.
No fix? You pay nothing.
Each gateway fails differently. Stripe webhook errors need a different fix to a PayPal IPN problem. We know all of them.
Webhook mismatches, SCA/3D Secure rejections, live/test mode confusion, currency mismatches, and API key expiry are the most common Stripe issues in WooCommerce.
IPN not firing, orders stuck pending after PayPal redirect, currency not supported, and sandbox credentials left on production are the most frequent PayPal failures.
Account verification failures, WPCOM connection errors, and dispute handling issues. WooPayments is tightly coupled to WordPress.com β connection faults are common after migrations.
OAuth token expiry, location ID mismatches, and currency/region restrictions cause most Square failures in WooCommerce. Often triggered by a password change on the Square account.
BNPL gateways have strict eligibility rules and API version requirements. Failures are often caused by outdated plugin versions or merchant account configuration issues.
Sagepay, Worldpay, Opayo, Authorize.net, and others β we work with all major gateways. If it connects to WooCommerce, we can diagnose it.
Payment failures leave traces β in error logs, webhook logs, and gateway dashboards. We follow the evidence.
Which gateway, what error message, and when it started. We'll also need WordPress admin and hosting access to begin the diagnostic.
β± 5 minutesWe check gateway logs, WooCommerce error logs, webhook endpoints, API credentials, SSL status, and plugin compatibility β working from the payment attempt backwards to the root cause.
β± Same dayWe fix the root cause, run a live transaction test, and verify the order completes end-to-end β including the confirmation email. Written summary of what we changed and why.
β± Confirmed before we closeA health supplements retailer migrated to a new host and immediately saw payment failures. Cards were being charged by Stripe but orders weren't completing in WooCommerce β customers were paying and getting nothing.
The migration changed the site domain but the Stripe webhook endpoint still pointed to the old URL. Stripe was sending payment confirmations to a domain that no longer existed. Orders never updated. We updated the webhook, regenerated the signing secret, and verified end-to-end order completion.
"Customers were emailing saying they'd been charged but had no order. We had no idea where to even start. StoreFixHQ found the issue within the hour and recovered every single order."
